Join us for a warm and welcoming evening exploring the foundations of shamanism, spiritual healing, and personal transformation. This free gathering is open to both the spiritually curious, those already walking a healing path and those already on the shamanic path. Together we’ll discuss what draws people toward shamanism, explore personal experiences and questions, and create meaningful conversation in community. Gift bags and informational handouts will be provided.

Have you felt drawn toward shamanism, spiritual exploration, healing work, or the deeper mysteries of life? Perhaps you’ve had experiences you cannot fully explain, feel a longing for deeper connection, or are simply curious about what shamanism truly is beyond the stereotypes often seen online or in media.
This free gathering is an opportunity to come together in a relaxed and welcoming environment to explore the foundations of shamanism and the spiritual journey. Whether you are completely new to shamanism, have studied for years, or are simply spiritually curious, you are warmly welcome.
During our evening together we will discuss:
-The foundations and philosophy of shamanism
-What draws people toward spiritual and healing paths
-Personal experiences and perspectives around shamanic practice
-The role of healing, connection, Spirit, nature, and inner transformation
-Questions participants may have about shamanism and spiritual practice
There will also be time for open discussion and Q&A.

Plant Communication the Shamanic Way:
Listening to the Living World
with Shamanic Practitioner Gwendolyn C. Natusch, B.S.Ed., M.Ed., MSW
Long before modern life disconnected us from the rhythms of the Earth, human beings sat quietly with plants, trees, roots, flowers, and forests and understood that life was speaking continuously.
The shamanic path teaches that plants are not objects, but living presences with intelligence, medicine, and memory. Across many shamanic traditions, plants have long been regarded as teachers, healers, allies, and living beings with their own wisdom and spirit.
This is not a class about botany, although one might assume this; it is a gathering about relationship. A quiet remembering that the Earth has always been speaking and that somewhere deep inside us, we still know how to listen. This is a soul-led class, rooted in reverence—not just for the plant, but for the emotions, wounds, and awakenings that the plants help us tend.
We will explore the foundations of plant communication through a shamanic lens and discuss how human beings can begin developing deeper awareness, intuition, and relationship with the natural world. We will also journey and have an experience communicating with the plants!
Together we will explore:
-How shamans traditionally connect with plant spirits
-Listening, sensing, and intuitive awareness practices
-The role of plants in healing and spiritual practice
-Developing a loving and personal relationship with nature -Journeying to the plants to experience this connection and relationship
-Sharing of Personal experiences, questions, and discussion
This gathering is open to both beginners and those already walking a shamanic or spiritual path. No previous experience is required, only curiosity and openness.
Come with a favorite plant, a cup of tea, or simply a willingness to listen differently to the living world around you.

Across cultures and throughout history, shamanism has offered human beings a path of healing, inner exploration, spiritual connection, and relationship with the living world. At its heart, shamanism is not simply something to study intellectually, but a practice of direct experience, awareness, and personal transformation.
This ongoing monthly gathering is designed as an introduction to the foundations of shamanism as a personal spiritual practice and is open to both beginners and those wishing to deepen their understanding of foundational shamanic concepts and practices.
Together we will explore:
• The foundational philosophy and worldview of shamanism
• Developing a personal spiritual practice
• Nature connection and relationship with the living world
• Grounding, energetic awareness, and spiritual protection
• Journeying and altered states of consciousness
• Power animals, spirit allies, and symbolic guidance
• Intuition, signs, and synchronicity
• Healing practices and spiritual self-care
• The role of ceremony, ritual, and intention
• Personal growth, healing, and inner transformation
This monthly gathering is intended to be experiential, thoughtful, grounded, and welcoming. Participants will have opportunities for discussion, reflection, questions, and shared exploration within a respectful and supportive environment. The work during our gatherings is one that fosters inner healing, shifted perceptions and transforming wounds at the root level.

Shamanism as a Personal Spiritual Practice: A Four Class Series
with Gwendolyn C. Natusch, M.Ed., MSW
Tuesday Evenings
February 23rd, March 2nd, March 9th and March 16th, 2021 – 7:00 to 9:30pm
In this four-class series we will explore, discover and deepen your knowledge and understanding of shamanism as a personal spiritual practice. You will discover, connect with and deepen your relationships with your power animal(s) and spirit helpers/guides. You will learn the art of interpretation and magic of the language of the Soul.
Together as a group, discoveries of the spirit worlds will be made and shared. Direct Divine Revelation will be opened up to you and you will hold in your heart deep, revealing and personally profound insights and guidance from those in spirit who guide, support and love you. You will learn the foundation skills and tools for shamanism and be prepared to step onto the path into your own practice at the summation of these classes.
You will learn…
-clearing and cleansing practices
-discover your power animal and guides
-learn shamanic cosmology
-learn the ancient technology of journeying
-create your shamanic practice tools
-discover a deeper part of yourself
-journey outside of time into the sacred
Week One’s Class: We will introduce, discuss and share personal experiences and practice and goals of learning in this first class. All will be invited to share their experience, knowledge and curiosity about shamanism. This first class will introduce the shamanic framework of worlds, the basics of journeying and to have a journey experience. Those who are versed in shamanism and journeying who attend are invited to share their knowledge and experience in this circle that recognizes that all who attend bring knowledge be they completely new and in this stance offering the newness of this experience and practice or if you are practicing this form of spirituality that is earth based for decades. Each perspective is valued and valuable! This class will also cover the basics of smudging, burning other materials that also clear, uplift and cleanse space and self. Other more internal means of clearing and balancing will also be offered.
Week Two’s Class: In this class power animals, spirit guides, archetypes and the language of the soul will be offered. Clarity on how to set journey intentions, how to gather the wisdom from the spirit world and also ways in which you can deepen your connection with your spirit family are offered. This class will also offer shamanic ceremony and activities to deepen these things. Also, we will cover how to open and close sacred space and to call up our song and spirit to come to our sacred circle. There will be a shamanic activity for deep clearing within that is a Siberian technique that is richly healing in its ability to elevate and transform from within.
Week Three’s Class: This third class will offer participants an opportunity to journey & Divine for others in the group. Also, shamanic topics will be shared such as: Journeying to the Upper World, the role of death and transformation in the shamanic worldview. We will participate in an initiation journey and strengthen our spiritual self.
Week Four’s Class: In our four class participants will be offered more information on shamanic topics, discuss and pose their questions, participate in ceremony and insightful activity.
Duration: This class runs once a week for 4 weeks

Chakra Meditation & Singing Crystal Bowls Monthly Gathering
with Gwendolyn C. Natusch, B.S.Ed., M.Ed., MSW
In this deeply relaxing chakra meditation participants will begin with gentle breathing and relaxation. The Singing Chakra Crystal Bowls will be played to balance the 7 chakras through toning the sound of each chakra. This guided meditation through the chakras grounds you and brings in Divine Light connecting you to God, Creator, Source, Great Spirit and balances the masculine and feminine within you. Through this experience each participant will energize and open their chakras, clearing each energy center and releasing that which no longer serves them.
The guided meditation will also take you to your inner sanctuary where you will meet with those in Spirit who love you, support you and are for you. To some these loving, spiritual supporters appear as angels, archetypes, loving animals or religious avatars. It is unique to each individual. This experience brings insight, resolution, and balancing to our inner experience and thought. It is rejuvenation, energizing and deeply calming.

The Healing Art of Mandalas: Learning the Language of Your Soul
Mandala’s are sacred pieces of artwork which are used to evoke healing, spiritual development and meditation. The word Mandala means ‘sacred circle’ and is derived from the word ‘mandra’ which means ‘container of essence’.
Carl Jung also used Mandala’s as a tool for healing and even instructed individuals to create their own. He discovered that the symbols from these personally created circle art pieces that these mandalas were able to be subconsciously absorbed into the individuals mind, bringing about healing and self-reflection.
The very nature of creating a mandala is healing and symbolic. The shapes and colors you create in your mandala art will reflect your inner self. In this we bring our personal expression into play through color, shape, feeling and emotion Through guided meditation, art and group connection we will create our own transformative mandalas.
