The word Mandala means ‘sacred circle’ and is derived from the word ‘mandra’ which means ‘container of essence’. \nCarl Jung also used Mandala’s as a tool for healing and even instructed individuals to create their own. He discovered that the symbols from these personally created circle art pieces that these mandalas were able to be subconsciously absorbed into the individuals mind\, bringing about healing and self-reflection. \nThe very nature of creating a mandala is healing and symbolic. The shapes and colors you create in your mandala art will reflect your inner self.
