Shaman Circle of Cape Cod is for anyone interested in the practice of shamanic journeying, community gatherings for journeying, sharings from community members & shamanic practitioners, and workshops and classes themed around shamanism for personal insight and learning. The Shaman Circle’s creation is motivated by the desire to bring skills to individuals to connect with a deeper part of themselves, to nature and all of creation, and to nurture this direct and personal relationship and inner wisdom through journeying and the acquisition of basic practices in shamanism. The Shaman Circle also hopes to bring together a community of individuals who are interested and connected to shamanism for the healing of ourselves, our community, and the earth. Individuals are invited to come and participate in journey groups, ceremony, and sharings from a variety of native spiritual teachings and shamanic practitioners.

Pipe Ceremony & Native Spiritual Leader Shares
Sunday March 23, 2014 10am to Noon
This Shaman Circle gathering is an opportunity to hear a sharing from a local Native Spiritual Leader who will facilitate a Pipe Ceremony with all gathered. It is a chance to peer into this sacred ritual and become part of it. Come and join the circle to learn the Native way of pipe ceremony and hear the spiritual sharing from White Feather. Limit is 8 people. If there is a large response White Feather has agreed to come again and share the pipe for all who are drawn to this circle and sharing. Cost: $10.00
Creating Your Personal Medicine Shield

In this workshop you will learn about Medicine Shields and their uses, purposes, and how these relate to you and your life. The medicine shield had nothing to do with protection in battle. A medicine shield is a personal shield which declares its owner’s sacred intentions and “medicine” or inherent power. Each participant will be able to create their Medicine Shield using a variety of materials that include beads, leather pieces, paints, stencils, rubber stamps, feathers to name only a few. Come and join this really inspiring Saturday Morning workshop!

Shamanic Circle: Clearing Through the Chakras

This gathering is an opportunity to deepen your clearing and cleansing skills through the shamanic process of “inner seeing”. In this workshop you will have the opportunity to ground, clear, and journey through your chakras. The focus will be to identify one chakra to “see” into and clear. Each participant will be guided through the process. Be ready to be amazed at what you discover and how this process is clearing and brings in more clarity and light to you luminous and physical body. This is a wonderful way to connect with your shamanic eyes and to become more familiar with your energy centers in your body.

Connecting & knowing Your Power Animal

In this workshop members gather together to journey to their power animals. This is an opportunity to discover who your power animal is and/or get to know this wonderful guide that is with you and ready to become more present in your life as a teacher and a confidant. If you already are connected to your power animal it is a chance to connect more deeply, ask a question and receive guidance or to simply develop a deeper relationship with this spiritual partner in your life.

2. Learn the Art of Journeying
This is a workshop that will offer the opportunity for participants to learn the basics of shamanic journeying. Those joining this workshop will learn how to smudge, the use of circle songs, calling up the directions, the art of journeying, and bringing home the message. Come and learn how to connect with a deeper part of yourself and to call to your life those ancestors, power animals, and helping spirits that want to aide you in your life and journey to bring you wisdom, healing, and health. This is a skill and practice that can change your life on the deepest level.

3. Discover Your Power Animal
Come and discover your power animal through a guided meditation in a safe and relaxed atmosphere at the Cape Cod’s Center for Personal Evolution.
The workshop facilitator, Gwendolyn Natusch, will guide you through the discovery of your power animal and the beginning of this new connection and guidance in your life. Come and participate in this workshop where you will connect with a deeper part of yourself and a deeper source through divine guide in your power animal.
What are power animals?
Power animals are spirit guides in animal form, valuable allies who can help you navigate through life’s challenges and transitions. Perceptive and trustworthy oracles, you can turn to them for advice and counsel on any questions or concerns. They’re exceptional teachers who’ll help you learn about both the spirit world and the natural world. Working with them on a regular basis will enhance your personal life and expand your spiritual capacities immensely.

4. Sage, Feather & Clearing the Shamanic Way
In this workshop participants will learn the art of feather clearing, smudging, and grounding. These are wonderful tools and skills to bring to your life to detoxify both on a spiritual, internal level and on the physical plane. Come and receive a cleansing and learn this art for your daily life.

5. Shamanic Circle: Clearing Through the Chakras
This class offers an opportunity to deepen your clearing and cleansing skills through the shamanic process of “inner seeing”. In this workshop you will have the opportunity to ground, clear, and journey through your chakras. The focus will be to identify one chakra to “see” into and clear. Each participant will be guided through the process. Be ready to be amazed at what you discover and how this process is clearing and brings in more clarity and light to you luminous and physical body. This is a wonderful way to connect with your shamanic eyes and to become more familiar with your energy centers in your body. Drums, rattles, and other tools will be provided. It is helpful to have some journey experience, but not required. This is a fabulous experience and highly recommended for those who resonate with this path.

6. Journeying for Insights for Others
In this Saturday Morning Shaman Circle workshop participants will journey for another group member. The art of asking for guidance and messages of a helping nature are part of shamanic traditions. Participants will call upon their power animal(s) to help them bring back a message. All journey materials are provided, but all are welcome to bring their own journey drums, animal totem pieces, and rattles.

7. Bridging the Visible and the Invisible Worlds through Intuitive Art & Ancient Shamanic Practice
A One Day Weekend Workshop
In this workshop you will get recharged and rejuvenated by diving into your own creative and spiritual source through meditation, journeying, and creating artwork. You will learn the wondrous and unique language of your soul through your journeys and the expressions you create with paint, collage, mixed media, drawing, or other mediums.
This experience will allow you to sense and trust more deeply that internal, intuitive self and give it expression. You will be able to really listen and hear your heart and what it needs and wants. This is your chance to slow down, go inside, and express what is deeply inside of you and longing to be heard, seen, and expressed. You will get to be a part of a wonderful circle of people on the same journey!
Through art, writing, dialogue and journeying you will create a piece of artwork comprised of the language of your soul; the message from your deeper self needing to be spoken aloud through your expressions on paper, canvas or cardboard.

The Shaman Circle of Cape Cod invites individuals to come and be a part of a community that shares the desire to learn, practice and share the experience of shamanism as a personal path to spiritual growth and inquiry. The circle creation is motivated by the desire to bring together a local community of individuals who are connected to the earth and shamanism in order to come together for healing of ourselves, our communities, and the earth.
The Shaman Circle of Cape Cod is not a training program for those looking to become shamanic practitioners, but rather it is a place to gain the basic skills of shamanic journeying, to come together as a community, and to participate in activities, that are art and ceremony based, as a means to deepen your connection to spirit and your spiritual nature. In this stance all are welcome and it is from the gathering of these skills and experience, that if inspired, individuals may move forward to find the shaman, institution or individual to further them along on a deeper and more specific path. All are welcome into the Shaman Circle of Cape Cod.
